Do
you need a ride to Friday evening or Saturday
morning services?
We will be happy to accommodate you. If night
driving is difficult (or any driving for that
matter), we will arrange to get you to Shul on
time.
Just call us on Thursday and we will find a ride
for you on Friday evening so that you can attend
Shabbat service at 8 pm. If you are in a position
to give someone else a ride to Alpine Community
House, please call Janine at 201-567-9783 or Rabbi

Ephraim
Woolman Judaic Study Class
This
Saturday morning class led by Rabbi Bemporad includes
stimulating discussions about Jewish philosophy,
history, scripture and commentary on current events.Coffee
and bagels will be served.
Join us every Shabbat morning in the fall and spring at 11 AM
at the Alpine Community House unless otherwise
noted*
Classes are held on a semester to semester basis with fall and spring semesters being scheduled yearly. Classes
are cancelled in the summer.
SHABBAT
MORNING MEDITATION
30 minutes
of meditation to prepare you for our Minyan
AND
The
Shabbat Morning Minyan
It
meets for less than an hour each and every Saturday.
It always includes an active discussion of some
aspect of this week's Torah portion, and
most often, an explanation of a prayer or two
included in the service. The dress is definitely
casual and informal.
Shabbat
Morning Meditations and Minyans are held every
Saturday at 9 a.m. unless otherwise
noted at the Alpine Community House and are led
by Rabbi Dennis Shulman.
Havdallah
Service and
Discussion
It
is a Jewish tradition to come together in the
home to mark the end of the holiness of Shabbat
for a Havdallah service. We invite you to pray
and sing as we bless the coming week with this
brief service.
